If there’s one word I’d use to describe 2025, it’s momentum.
This year felt like a culmination of everything I’ve been building toward – years of freelancing, experimenting, refining my point of view, and working closely with brands I genuinely believe in. Seeing that work recognized on a larger scale has been incredibly meaningful.
In 2025, I was honored to be named Best in Business in Cincinnati and Best in Ohio for Social Media Consulting by Ohio Business Magazine. Being voted an awardee by readers – founders, marketers, and business leaders across the state – is something I don’t take lightly.
It’s validation that thoughtful strategy still matters. That relationship-driven work matters. And that social media, when done well, can actually move businesses forward.


While the recognition was a highlight, it wasn’t the only thing that defined 2025.
In 2025, my work spanned:
- Social media strategy and execution for AI, healthcare, venture capital, lifestyle, and nonprofit organizations
- Supporting founders and leadership teams with thought leadership and brand positioning
- Helping brands show up more intentionally at conferences, launches, and major milestones
- Balancing high-growth, high-stakes industries with deeply human storytelling
I worked with teams building cutting-edge technology, teams expanding access to healthcare, and teams shaping culture in their own unique ways. Every project reinforced why I love what I do: translating complex ideas into clear, compelling stories that resonate.
Building From Cincinnati, Working Everywhere
Being based in Cincinnati, and growing a business here, has been grounding. It’s a city full of creative energy, strong operators, and people building genuinely interesting things. Winning both local and statewide recognition reminds me that impactful work doesn’t have to come from the loudest room or the biggest market.
You can build something meaningful from anywhere, as long as the work is intentional.
Looking Ahead
2025 was a year of trust: from clients, collaborators, and myself. It confirmed that staying selective, strategic, and values-driven was the right call.
As I head into 2026, I’m excited to continue working with brands that care about clarity, community, and long-term impact, and to keep pushing what social media can be when it’s done with purpose.
